Tumzy is built on one promise: your health logs are yours alone.

Your logs: we collect nothing

• Your food entries, symptoms, and notes are stored only on your device, in a private local database.
• We cannot read your logs. They never leave your phone.
• We do not collect your content, health data, identifiers, location, or contacts.
• We do not use advertising SDKs and we do not track you across apps or websites.
• We never sell or share your personal data.

The one thing that leaves your device: purchases

If you subscribe to Tumzy+, we use RevenueCat (a third-party subscription service) to verify and manage your subscription. To do this, purchase data — your transaction/receipt and an anonymous, app-generated ID — is sent to RevenueCat's and Apple's servers. It is used only to:

• confirm whether your Tumzy+ subscription is active (App Functionality), and
• understand subscription totals in aggregate (Analytics).

This purchase data is not linked to your identity (we use anonymous IDs — no name, email, or login) and is not used to track you. This matches our App Store privacy label: Purchase History — App Functionality & Analytics, not linked to you, not used for tracking.

Anonymous usage analytics

To understand how Tumzy is used and to fix problems, we collect anonymous, non-identifying usage events via PostHog — for example, that the app was opened, that a log was saved (never what food or symptom), that the paywall was shown, or that a purchase completed. These events are tied to a random on-device ID (no name, email, or login), are not used to track you across other apps or websites, and never include your food, symptom, or note content. Notifications

If you turn on a reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No reminder data is sent to us or anyone else.

Not medical advice

Tumzy is a wellness and self-tracking tool to help you notice patterns in your own data. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Any patterns it surfaces are informational only — always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health and before changing your diet.

Data deletion

Because your logs live only on your device, you are always in full control. Deleting an entry removes it; deleting the app removes all of your data permanently.

Children

Tumzy is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
