DoseProof ("the app") is designed to be private by default. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.
The medications, doses, schedules, notes, adherence history, and proof photos you record are stored only in local storage on your device. We do not have a server that receives, stores, or can read your medication records. There is no account and no login.
If you enable proof photos, the app uses your camera only when you choose to capture proof for a dose. These photos are saved inside the app's private storage on your device and are never uploaded to us. When you tap "Send proof to family," you choose what to share and which app to send it through; that sharing happens directly from your device through the share sheet you select.
To understand how the app is used and improve it, the app may send anonymous product-usage events (for example, "a dose was marked taken" or "the paywall was viewed") to our analytics provider, PostHog. These events are tied to a random on-device identifier and do not include your name, your medications, your photos, or any health details. We do not sell data.
Optional subscriptions (DoseProof Pro) are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. Apple handles your payment information; we never receive your full payment details.
DoseProof is intended for adults managing medications for themselves or someone they care for, and is not directed at children.
You can delete all data at any time from within the app, or by deleting the app, which removes its local data from your device.
DoseProof is a personal organization tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. Always follow your doctor and pharmacist.
